Feeder Ammeter Clear Test
The FACT is used to indicate the presence of grounds or short circuits on the three-phase conductors of a primary feeder or on transformer secondaries. Grounding of feeder cables is a common safety practice and may occur when maintenance is being performed prior to service being restored. If grounds are not removed from the feeder prior to restoring power, damage can occur.
