Electronic Voltage Detectors

The single range TAG®-200, dual range TAG-200MR, triple range TAG-2000 and single range TAG-330 are electronic voltage detectors designed for detecting both distribution and transmission voltages. These direct contact type detectors emit both audible and visual indications when placed in contact with an energized conductor. Units are designed for overhead applications, but can be adapted for underground use with optional underground bushing probes.

  • TAG-200 and 200MR for system voltages up to 69kV (phase-to-phase)
  • TAG-2000 for system voltages up to 90kV (phase-to-phase)
  • TAG-330 for system voltages from 69kV up to 765kV (phase-to-phase)
  • Designed to physically contact conductor under test
  • Rugged polycarbonate housing for heavy field use
  • Water resistant/gasketed housing
  • All-Check self testing system
  • Both audible and visual alarms
  • No on/off or range selector switches
  • Built-in universal spline for hotstick attachment
