Active Power Tester
The APT-1 Active Power Tester is designed to give an indication when the absence of full line voltage is detected on overhead conductors, giving an audible and visual alert. The APT-1 is for use on uninsulated overhead conductors with voltages from 7.6 to 13.2kV line-to-ground.
Active Power Tester Features
- Lets the worker know whether the overhead voltage has been disconnected prior to working on the line
- Clampstick installed
- Audible indication and flashing light when the absence of voltage is detected on the line
- Powered by a field replaceable 9-volt alkaline battery
